Two multicolored sea glass gems were found in England along a North Sea beach. One features multiple layers of turquoise and teal, the other- black and gray, each over frosty white backgrounds.
The swirled look originates from multiple colors of glass that were mixed together when in the molten stage. Whether the original glass was created as an artistic piece or was from an industrial bottle-works site, it has resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was discarded into the sea. The piece spent many decades thereafter in the surf being shaped and conditioned.
The pieces are similarly sized and each measure just over 3/4" tall. Both are very frosted and have a couple of chips. The beauty of these pieces are magnified when held up to a light source. Dime in photo for size reference.
The gems will arrive with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your pieces were found.
