Sticking Together

This piece of Atlantic Ocean art is made up of two fully intact bottle necks, who over time tumbling and crashing in the ocean became stuck together. More specifically, the smaller frosty white neck became lodged inside of the large brown bottle neck. It gives an artistic picture of the small piece finding refuge and safety from the stormy sea inside the shelter of the larger piece.

Both pieces have been smoothed and frosted by the sea, although the ends which broke away from their respective bottles are still somewhat rough. The large brown piece has a fissure line that spans the entire width of the side, but the piece remains whole. The brown sea glass measures 1 and 5/8 inches long with a 1 inch diameter. The smaller white sea glass piece is 3/4 inch long with a 5/8 inch diameter.

Your sea glass will arrive with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your pieces were found.

It almost appears that the large bottle neck protected the smaller piece during the rough journey at sea.
