These sea glass gems were discovered on a beach along England's North Sea shores. Each multicolored piece originates from multiple colors of glass that were mixed together when in the molten stage. Whether the original glass was created as an artistic piece or was from an industrial bottle-works site, it has resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was discarded into the sea. The piece spent many decades thereafter in the surf being shaped and conditioned.
Each of the three pieces measures about 5/8 inch wide. Included is a gray-blue layered over white, magenta layers over white, and a white with swirls of purple in it. These pieces are well conditioned from tumbling in the sea for many years, however they are not perfect and each piece has some chipping and/or pitting. The magenta piece especially is completely unfrosted on one side where it broke at sea. Dime in 2nd photo for size reference.
Your gems will arrive with a gift card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your pieces were beachcombed.
