This interesting piece of multicolored sea glass was beachcombed by hand from a rocky English North Sea shoreline. It features multiple layers of golden honey and amber brown colors inside the frosty white piece. It has a smooth, frosted patina with chipping along one edge. The beach found jewel measures just over 1" wide and is 1/4" thick. This unique piece is a fine addition to any sea glass lover's collection.
The swirled look originates from multiple colors of glass that were mixed together when in the molten stage. Whether the original glass was created as an artistic piece or was from an industrial bottle-works site, it has resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was discarded into the sea. The piece spent many decades thereafter in the surf being shaped and conditioned.
Your sea glass will arrive with a gift card which tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your piece was beachcombed. Dime in photo for size reference.
