This crimson red pottery piece with a stripe of white running completely horizontal looks a bit like a little sailboat. The sea glass was found along a Pacific Ocean beach.
The pottery piece was once a dish perhaps, then discarded and tossed into the sea. Though sea pottery is slightly more difficult to find than glass, we have still found it like sea glass, washed ashore after tumbling in the ocean. The 7/8" long piece now has a very smooth, rounded appearance from the sculpting process of the waves for decades.
We have set this unique beauty in a bezel of fine, .999 Argentium silver. The hand cut and polished sterling silver back plate and slide bail are securely soldered to the bezel, and it is completed with our signature sea star stamp on the back. It hangs on a sterling silver chain in your choice of length. The total length of the pendant including the bail measures just over 1.25" long.
Your necklace will arrive in a cotton lined gift box with a card which tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean your piece was beachcombed from.
