This genuine sea glass gem was found on a beach along England's North Sea. Swirls of brown are layered on a frosty smooth, white disc. The coloring is due to multiple glass colors mixing together while the original piece was being formed during the molten stage of production. After the shard was tossed into the sea the ocean naturally tumbled it over many years into this smooth, frosty shape.
The jewel is set with fine and sterling silver. The backplate has been hand hammered with a hash design for texture. The sea glass is 1/2" long, and the entire pendant including sterling silver split ring measures 1.25 inches. It hangs on a sterling silver snake chain in your choice of length.
Your necklace will arrive in a cotton lined gift box with a card which tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your piece was found.
