This very pretty sea glass gem may very well be one of our most rare, multicolored sea glass specimens! The smooth oval piece features a spot of yellow and blue swirls centered against a frosty white background. It appears artistic, resembling a miniature beach scene of sand, sky and water.
The swirled look originates from molten glass that was mixed together with other color(s). This resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was then discarded into the sea. The piece has spent many decades in the surf being shaped and conditioned. The result is one solid bauble containing multiple colors within. This jewel was found on a North Sea beach in England.
