This LOVEly pair of red sea glass pieces were found separately along the shores of Pacific Ocean beaches. Red sea glass is one of the rarest colors to find as it was not mass produced due to the expense of colorants needed to create the red hue. These pieces likely date prior to 1950 and are perhaps parts of vehicle light lenses or signal lanterns. Each piece measures just under 1/2" wide.
We have carefully drilled a hole through the center of each piece and stacked the sea glass, along with white glass beads, onto sterling silver headpins with hand twisted bails. The earrings hang from sterling silver hook earwires.
Your earrings will arrive in a cotton lined gift box with a card which tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where the pieces were found.
