An 18" filament strand holds sterling silver beads that flank this handsome piece of genuine sea glass, measuring just under 3/4" tall. The beach glass gem has been width-drilled and includes hues of deep purple and fuchsia inside the frosty white oval. The swirled look originates from molten glass that was mixed together with other color(s). This resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was then discarded into the sea. The piece has spent many decades in the surf being shaped and conditioned.
The necklace is closed via a sterling silver spring ring closure. The beads and sea glass are secured in place with sterling silver crimp beads and will not slide. This unique sea glass was found in England on a North Sea shore.
Your necklace will arrive in a cotton lined gift box with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where it was beachcombed.
