Blue Willow Sea Pottery Necklace

Like sea glass, we sometimes find pieces of china or pottery as well. Once a piece of fine china, this blue and white pottery was broken, discarded, and washed out to sea where it spent years tumbling in the sand and surf. It was found along a North Sea shore in Scotland. This specific pattern is called "Blue Willow", and became popular around the end of the 18th century.

We have carefully drilled the beach gem and secured it with a sterling silver "mermaid tail" pinch bail. It will hang on a sterling silver chain in the length of your choice. The pendant is large and measures 2.5 inches long including the bail, and is almost 1.25 inches wide.

Your jewelry will arrive in a cotton-lined gift box with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your piece was found.
