A pristine piece of sea glass in layers of vivid browns, yellows, and white was beachcombed off England's North Sea. The swirled look originates from molten glass that was mixed together with other color(s). This resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was then discarded into the sea. The piece has spent many decades in the surf being shaped and conditioned.
The striking gem is just over 7/8" long, well rounded and smooth. It has been finely drilled and strung onto 20" silver filament wire. This necklace is accented with base metal, sterling silver, copper, and glass beads, and a sterling silver spring ring clasp.
Your necklace will arrive in a cotton lined gift box with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your piece was beachcombed.
