This artistic sea glass necklace is striking and one of a kind. The unique multicolored shades of turquoise and teal are brought out when held to the light, exposing its full beauty.
The genuine sea glass gem is 3/4" long and was found along a North Sea beach in England. The swirled look originates from multiple colors of glass that were mixed together when in the molten stage. Whether the original glass was created as an artistic piece or was from an industrial bottle-works site, it has resulted in a multi-hued chunk that was discarded into the sea. The piece spent many decades thereafter in the surf being shaped and conditioned.
It is bezel set in fine, .999 silver and features an open back for light to filter through the glass, better showing the layers and swirls inside. The back side of the glass does have a significant chip that is not visible from the front view of the pendant. It hangs from a sterling silver chain in the length of your choice.
Your necklace will arrive in a cotton-lined gift box with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your piece was beachcombed.
