This fabulously smooth, limey green UV sea glass piece glows brightly under a black light as seen here. The rare piece was probably once part of a beautiful, early 1900's "Vaseline Glass" tableware piece that was found years ago after decades of tumbling along a Pacific shore. The color which was created with trace amounts of Uranium Dioxide shows in natural light (photo #2) as a vibrant, key-lime color. When held to a black light the piece glows VERY brightly.
The sterling silver pendant was created by fitting the sea glass into the form and gluing it with a strong epoxy to hold it firmly in place. An attached sterling silver split ring holds the pendant to the chain. Total length of the pendant is 1 inch and it will arrive on a sterling silver snake chain in your choice of length.
Your necklace will arrive in a cotton lined gift box with a card telling the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean your piece was beach combed from.
