This eyecatching, dramatic necklace is the perfect conversation piece! The three large, rare pieces of blue and white patterned pottery were found along North Sea shores in Scotland. They each originate from fine porcelain pieces that were tossed in the ocean decades ago, and have made a journey back to the shore where they were found and beachcombed. The largest of the three giants measures nearly 1.75" long, and the other two are each approximately 1.25" in length. These are some of the very largest sea glass or sea pottery pieces we find!
Each hand picked, sea pottery shape is individually set in fine silver. They are sturdily soldered to hand cut, forged, sanded and polished sterling silver backings, then each is soldered to attaching rings. Sterling silver split rings connect the pieces together horizontally and to the rolo style necklace with lobster clasp. The necklace measures 20" long in total.
Your necklace will arrive with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your pieces were found.
