This unique beauty was beachcombed from a rugged, rocky North Sea coast shoreline in England. The round piece originates as a vintage glass bottle stopper top and has a small protuberance where the stem broke off. It has been tumbling naturally for decades and it is smooth, well frosted, and well-conditioned by nature's time, tide and shore.
The rounded gem measures 7/8" in diameter, and the nubbin protrudes about 1/4". We have secured the sea glass using a sturdy, sterling silver cinch band, which allows light to travel through the piece. The pendant hangs on a 22" sterling silver bead chain unless otherwise requested. This necklace could easily be worn with the nubbin facing outward, or the smooth side out, according to your preference.
All of our jewelry arrives in a cotton-lined gift box with a card that tells the short story of sea glass and the name of the ocean where your piece was beachcombed.
