This authentic, Japanese fishing float is historic and beautiful. It's been hand picked from coastal, Pacific Ocean locations.

This is what's called a "baseball size" and shows its original, handmade netting still attached. The float measures right about 3.25" across. The netting at one time attached the float to the fishing net to provide buoyancy and helps to confirm its originality. Occasionally a float comes free from the net and can travel a lifetime over the ocean to land on a West Coast, Pacific shore.

Each is a beachy shade of bluish green in color and each shows the original glass blowing bubbles, the pontil "button", the original net, and some ocean frostiness. You will receive one float per quantity ordered. Your float will come with a gift card which tells the short description and history of the glass fishing float. These historical and rare relics are diminishing worldwide and sell out quickly.

Each is packaged carefully and securely in bubble wrap and boxed in sturdy cardboard, then shipped from the Pacific's US West Coast.
