This authentic, Japanese fishing float is historic and beautiful. It's been hand picked from a coastal, Pacific Ocean shore.

This is what's called a "baseball size" as the float measures right about 3.25" across. At one time some cording attached the float to a fishing net which provided the net buoyancy. Occasionally a float comes free from the net and can travel a lifetime over the ocean to land on a West Coast, Pacific shore.

Each is a beachy shade of rare-ish olive green and shows the original glass manufacturing bubbles, and the pontil "button" which shows some ocean frostiness. You will receive one float per quantity ordered. Your float will come with a gift card which tells the short description and history of the glass fishing float. These historical and rare relics are diminishing worldwide and sell out quickly.

Each is packaged carefully and securely in bubble wrap and boxed in sturdy cardboard, then shipped from the Pacific's US West Coast.
